The Competition and Markets Authority completed a year-long market study into housebuilding in England, Wales, and Scotland with the publication of their final report on 26 February 2024.

This sets out the UK government’s response to the 11 recommendations from the CMA.

The response is on behalf of the UK government. Scotland and Wales will be publishing their own responses at a later date.
